Trained where it counts.

Rachael Murphy, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified clinician with full prescriptive authority in Florida. She completed her Master of Science at the University of Texas at Arlington and holds board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, with an active DEA registration.

Her clinical training includes years at Tampa General Hospital and UF Health Shands — two of Florida's foremost academic medical centers — where she managed critically ill patients in their Cardiac Intensive Care Units. That caliber of training shapes how she thinks: with the diagnostic depth and systemic clinical reasoning that complex medicine demands, applied to every patient she sees.

She founded My Renewed Health to bring that standard of clinical precision to weight loss medicine. Her patients are not handed a prescription and sent on their way — they have a clinician with serious training managing their care from the first consultation through every follow-up.

Not all weight loss care is the same.

Most GLP-1 programs are built for volume. Here is what makes this practice different.

Everything delivered by Rachael directly. No support teams, no handoffs, no substitutes.

01Initial Consultation

A comprehensive evaluation of your health history, existing conditions, current medications, and weight loss goals. This visit establishes your baseline and determines whether GLP-1 therapy is appropriate — and which medication is the right fit for you specifically.

Telehealth only. Florida patients.

02GLP-1 Medication Management

Prescription, dosing, and ongoing management of semaglutide or tirzepatide based on what fits your clinical picture. Medication selection and dosage are determined by Rachael directly — not by a protocol generator or support team.

03Follow-up & Monitoring

Regular check-in visits to review your progress, assess how your body is responding, and make dosage adjustments when needed. These visits are built into your care plan — not optional add-ons or extra charges.

The goal is results that hold, not a prescription that runs on autopilot without a clinician paying attention.

Who is a good candidate for GLP-1 weight loss therapy?

GLP-1 therapy is typically appropriate for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related condition such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, or high cholesterol. Rachael conducts a thorough evaluation during your initial consultation to determine the right approach based on your complete health picture.

What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?

Semaglutide activates GLP-1 receptors to reduce appetite and slow gastric emptying. Tirzepatide is a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist — it activates two pathways simultaneously, and clinical trials have shown it can produce greater average weight loss. Neither is universally superior. The right choice depends on your health history, tolerability, and goals. Rachael will walk you through both during your consultation.

How are visits conducted?

All visits are conducted via telehealth, meaning you can complete your consultation, follow-ups, and medication management from home. My Renewed Health serves Florida patients only.

What results can I realistically expect?

Clinical trials have shown meaningful weight loss with GLP-1 medications — many participants lost between 10–20% of body weight over 12–16 months. Individual results vary based on starting weight, adherence, lifestyle, and how your body responds to medication. Rachael will give you honest, realistic expectations during your consultation rather than a number designed to close a sale.

Do you accept insurance?

My Renewed Health operates as a cash-pay practice. Pricing is discussed during your initial consultation. Some HSA and FSA accounts may be used for medical weight loss services — check with your plan administrator. Insurance coverage for GLP-1 medications varies by plan and diagnosis; Rachael's office can provide documentation to support your claim if applicable.

What if I have side effects or questions between visits?

You will have direct access to Rachael throughout your treatment. Common early side effects of GLP-1 medications — nausea, fatigue, digestive changes — are usually manageable and improve as your body adjusts. If something concerns you, you can contact Rachael's office and receive a response from a clinician, not a support queue.

How is this different from an app-based weight loss subscription?

Most app-based programs are built for volume — you complete an intake form, get a prescription, and receive medication with minimal clinical involvement. My Renewed Health is a solo practice. Every consultation, every prescription decision, and every follow-up is handled by one clinician who knows your history. Your care is never delegated or triaged through a team.
